Partners for Public Health
A guide to creating healthier communities
Partners for Public Health provides a broad overview of the many public agencies that make policy decisions affecting aspects of the built environment, pointing public health professionals toward opportunities for engagement.
This guide is a companion resource to the Healthy Planning Guide, which links key health risks to aspects of the built environment, outlining policies to consider in the planning process and ways for public health professionals to get involved.
Both guides were developed in collaboration with the Bay Area Health Inequities Initiative.
