William Hudson

William G. Hudson is vice president for public health at Qualtrics and has nearly two decades of health care management and public health leadership experience. Prior to joining Qualtrics, he served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer for Harris County Public Health, the local health agency for Harris County, Texas, the third most populous county in the United States.

Hudson fulfills multiple board advisory roles with notable institutions such as the Texas Medical Center Innovation Institute; the University of Texas School of Public Health; and Texas Southern University’s College of Science, Engineering and Technology as well as its College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Hudson earned his master's degree in both public health and management and organizational behavior from Benedictine University and a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Texas Southern University. In addition to his degrees, he has completed executive education programs centered on value-based care delivery and innovation from Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, Thunderbird Global School of Management, and Cornell University. He is a fellow of the Academy for Healthcare Management, a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, and an official member of the Forbes Business Council. He holds certifications and professional memberships with the Academy for Healthcare Management, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.
