Melani Tiongson, JD

As an attorney at ChangeLab Solutions, Melani works to advance health equity in several program areas, such as good governance and health care.

Before joining ChangeLab Solutions, Melani worked at the University of California as a legal fellow and a legal content specialist. As a legal fellow, she supported the systemwide Office of the General Counsel across all practice areas, including constitutional law, employment law, and health law. As a legal content specialist, Melani developed training and education content for Continuing Education of the Bar, a self-supporting nonprofit of the University of California. During law school, Melani was an editor for the Asian American Law Journal and a judicial extern to Magistrate Judge Donna M. Ryu of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.

Melani graduated from Stony Brook University summa cum laude and received her JD from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
