ChangeLab Solutions has created a new guide to explain the roles and activities that state health departments can pursue to support local health departments’ community engagement efforts. Supporting Equitable Community Engagement can help state and local health departments address the social determinants of health and promote the well-being of all their residents.
This publication, developed with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is part of a suite of resources tailored to the specific needs of health departments, based on ChangeLab Solutions' literature reviews and interviews with public health practitioners.
