Model Joint Use Resolution
A foundation for formal policies & agreements
Local governments often use resolutions to set official policy, direct internal operations, or establish a task force to study an issue.
Resolutions can be a good first step in encouraging collaborative relationships between public agencies, nonprofits, and other organizations to expand access to recreation facilities and related programs.
The purpose of this model joint use resolution is to help local governments lay the foundation for establishing more formal joint use (also known as shared use) policies and agreements.
