Since 2019, ChangeLab Solutions has provided legal and policy assistance to 18 communities across the United States through The BUILD Health Challenge®, supporting strategies to boost food access, maternal health, affordable housing, and other health-promoting initiatives.

BUILD’s model of change convenes and funds partnerships between community-based organizations, health systems, and health departments. BUILD’s unique approach centers community-based organizations, funding them directly as the lead partner of each project team.
